Loy Howard. President and CEO of Tanner Health System (Carrollton, Ga.). Until joining Tanner Health System in 1994, Mr. Howard served as CEO and CFO of Union (S.C.) Hospital District. He is now the fifth administrator/CEO in Tanner’s 50-year history. Since his time at Tanner began in 1994, Mr. Howard has earned various honors and awards, including the Georgia Hospital Association’s Chairman Award in 2014. He was named to Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “Who’s Who in Atlanta” each year from 2006 to 2010.
