Rodney Hochman, MD. President and CEO of Providence St. Joseph Health (Renton, Wash.). At the helm of Providence St. Joseph Health, Dr. Hochman leads a nonprofit health and social services system with 50 hospitals, 829 physician clinics and various services across Alaska, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Washington. Dr. Hochman was president and CEO of Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services until it merged with Irvine, Calif.-based St. Joseph Health earlier this year. Previously, Dr. Hochman served as president and CEO of Seattle-based Swedish Health Services, which affiliated with Providence in 2012. Before that, he was executive vice president at Norfolk, Va.-based Sentara Healthcare. Dr. Hochman’s medical background is in rheumatology and internal medicine.
