Prisma Health names chief information and digital officer

Steve LeBlond has been appointed chief information and digital officer of Greenville, S.C.-based Prisma Health.

Mr. LeBlond most recently served as vice president and COO of information services and digital at Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health. He previously worked in IT leadership for New Orleans-based Ochsner Health, Cooperstown, N.Y.-based Bassett Healthcare Network, Oswego (N.Y.) Health and AT&T after serving in the U.S. Army.

At Prisma Health, which has 18 hospitals and about $6.4 billion in annual revenue, he will lead technology strategy, including digital transformation and AI adoption, according to a Jan. 12 news release shared with Becker’s. He replaces Rich Rogers, who retired in December after 13 years with the organization.
