President of Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital to resign

Thomas Tulisiak, MD, president of Cleveland Clinic Medina (Ohio) Hospital, will leave his post to return to practicing medicine full-time within the Cleveland Clinic Medicine Institute.

Here are four things to know about Dr. Tulisiak.

1. Dr. Tulisiak is a board-certified family medicine physician.

2.He joined Medina Hospital’s medical staff in 1983, and has served as medical director of the Cleveland Clinic Brunswick (Ohio) Family Health Center and vice president of medical operations at Medina Hospital.

3. He became president of Medina Hospital in 2011.

4. His resignation is effective May 1, at which point Medina Hospital’s COO Vicky Snyder will serve as interim president. Ms. Snyder has been COO at Medina Hospital for the past eight years. Before joining Medina Hospital, she worked in healthcare financial management and was vice president of operations and director of finance at Cleveland-based Fairview Hospital, also a part of Cleveland Clinic.
