Here are four things to know about Mr. Maxwell.
1. He is the seventh president and CEO in Presbyterian’s 108-year history, according to a news release.
2. He served as the hospital’s interim CEO since January.
3. Mr. Maxwell also worked in various other roles at Presbyterian, including executive vice president and chief administrative officer, CFO for the Presbyterian system, CFO for Presbyterian Health Plan and COO of Presbyterian Medical Group.
4. He earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Seton Hall University in Orange, N.J., and a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.
