Porter Medical Center names Lynn Boggs CEO

Middlebury, Vt.-based Porter Medical Center has announced the appointment of Lynn Boggs, RN, as president and CEO to replace James L. Daily, who is retiring this year after 31 years in the role.

Most recently, Ms. Boggs served as senior vice president of system operations for Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health. At the same time, she served as president and CEO of Marion, N.C.-based McDowell Hospital — part of the Mission System — since 2012. While at Mission Health, Ms. Boggs led the successful development of new services in the eastern counties of Mission Health’s service area and developed system-wide clinical contracts and services that support a clinically integrated regional care network.
