Lourdes Hospital names new chief quality and patient safety officer

Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky., has named Andrew Behan chief quality and patient safety officer, according to a local a SurfKY report.

Mr. Behan will have responsibility over developing and executing quality and performance improvements as well as ensuring a continuously improving culture of safety.

Prior to joining Lourdes, Mr. Behan served as director of quality and clinical performance for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare in Waterloo, Iowa, and interim director of quality outcomes, infection prevention and accreditation for Trinity Regional Health System in Rock Island, Ill.
