Porter Health Care System CEO to resign: 5 things to know

Valparaiso, Ind.-based Porter Health Care System CEO Steve Lunn is resigning to take a new job opportunity, effective Nov. 10, according to a North West Indiana Times report.

Here are five things to know:

1. Mr. Lunn will take on the regional vice president role at American Physician Partners in Nashville, Tenn.

2. He served as Porter Health Care System CEO since March 2014.

3. During his tenure, he led the construction of a new emergency room in Valparaiso and helped the system win a number of awards.

4. He previously served as CEO of Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Ill.

5. Mr. Lunn holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
