PharMerica Corp. CFO to retire

PharMerica Corp., a national provider of institutional pharmacy, specialty infusion and hospital pharmacy management services, is losing a top executive.

The company announced David W. Froesel Jr., executive vice president, CFO and treasurer, intends to retire. Mr. Froesel is slated to continue carrying out responsibilities through the end of September to ensure a seamless transition, the company said.

"I am honored to have worked alongside such an incredibly talented group of individuals over the last three and a half years, and am exceptionally proud of what PharMerica has accomplished during my time with the company," Mr. Froesel said in a statement. "Working at PharMerica has been a very rewarding experience, and I am confident in the company's continued success."

PharMerica is in the process of searching for Mr. Froesel's successor.
