Penn State Health taps Cletis Earle as CIO

Penn State Health has selected Cletis Earle to serve as senior vice president and CIO for the Hershey, Pa.-based health system and Penn State College of Medicine.

Mr. Earle, of Buffalo, N.Y., will take over the roles Dec. 30.

Most recently, he was senior vice president and CIO for Kaleida Health/Great Lake’s Health of Western New York. Mr. Earle also was vice president and chief information officer at St. Luke’s Cornwall (N.Y.) Hospital and held various roles at Brooklyn (N.Y.) Queens Health Care.

He is former chairman of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives.
