Passavant Area Hospital CEO to resign in June: 3 notes

Harry Schmidt, CEO of Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville, Ill., is resigning June 30, according to a Journal-Courier report.

Three notes:

1. Mr. Schmidt became CEO of the hospital in January 2017.

2. He was previously vice president of the facilities management division at Springfield, Ill.-based Memorial Health System.

3. Passavant Area Hospital, an affiliate of Memorial Health System, is a 93-bed facility with 70 physicians on staff.
