Sayre, Pa.-based Guthrie appointed Felissa Koernig president and COO of Guthrie Towanda (Pa.) Memorial Hospital.

1. Ms. Koernig previously served as associate director and COO of the VA medical center in Charleston, S.C.

2. She has 10-plus years of healthcare leadership experience.

3. She holds a juris doctorate from Penn State University Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle as well as an MBA from Penn State University Capital College in Middletown.
