Owensboro Health names interim CEO: 4 things to know

Owensboro (Ky.) Health has named Greg Strahan interim president and CEO, effective immediately.

Here are four things to know about Mr. Strahan.

1. He recently worked as a consultant overseeing construction of One Health, formerly Owensboro Health Medical Group, outpatient facilities in Daviess, Henderson, Hopkins and Muhlenberg counties. The Kentucky facilities are scheduled for groundbreaking this spring.

2. Mr. Strahan has also served as COO of Owensboro Health since 2007.

3. Prior to serving as COO, he was senior vice president of business development and community health services at Owensboro Health from 2005 to 2007.

4. He earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
