Owensboro Health adds 2 executives: 7 things to know

Owensboro (Ky.) Health has named two new executives, according to a news release.

Here are seven things to know about the executives.

Debbie Bostic, MSN, BSN, RN, is joining the system March 21 as CNO and COO of Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.

1. She has more than two decades of executive experience.

2. Most recently, she served as senior vice president over hospital operations and CNO of St. Francis Health System in Columbus, Ga.

3. She also previously served as CNO of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area, and as president of Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.

4. In addition to overseeing Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, Ms. Bostic will be responsible for management, planning and development responsibilities for Owensboro Health's patient care services division, and will have oversight over nursing practice standards of care throughout Owensboro Health.

Don Martin joined Owensboro Health Feb. 8 as senior vice president of the One Health medical group.

5. Mr. Martin has more than two decades of experience in physician practice operations.

6. Specifically, he has experience in leading employed physician practices for medium and large health systems, including Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Medical Associates, Gastonia, N.C.-based CaroMont Health , Spartanburg, S.C.-based Mary Black Health System and Charleston, S.C.-based Trident Health System.

7. Most recently, Mr. Martin was CEO of the physician enterprise division for St. Peters Health Partners in Albany, N.Y.
