Overlake Medical Center CMIO becomes CMO

Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, Wash., has appointed David Knoepfler, MD, as CMO, according to a report in The Rock Hill Herald.

Previously, Dr. Knoepfler was the hospital’s CMIO. In this position he worked on the hospital’s Epic EHR implementation, engaging physicians and optimizing workflows, according to the report.

Dr. Knoepfler is a native son for Overlake — he grew up in Bellevue and has spent most of his career at the hospital, practicing for a time alongside his father, according to the report.
