Osceola Regional Medical Center selects CMO

Kissimmee, Fla.-based Osceola Regional Medical Center hired Joseph Mazzola, DO, to serve as CMO.

Dr. Mazzola most recently served as senior vice president of medical affairs, CMO and vice president of medical education at Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge in Morganton, N.C. He has also served as family medicine residency program director and chief medical information officer at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Ga.

Dr. Mazzola is a fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians and American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He was designated a certified physician executive by the Certifying Commission in Medical Management in 2016.

Dr. Mazzola is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
