Most recently, Mr. Vaughn, a certified public accountant, served as CFO at Forest Park Medical Center in Dallas. Before that he served as CFO at Monroe County Hospital in Monroeville, Ala. Mr. Vaughn held executive roles at Nearterm Corporation in Houston, Senior Care Excellence in Dallas and Rockwell Hospital in Richardson, Texas, where he served as interim CFO. He has also served in numerous consulting roles.
Mr. Vaughn began his new role last week, ORMC Interim President and CEO Steven Johnson told The Union-Recorder. He replaces Brenda Qualls, who announced in August she would step down as CFO effective Sept. 18, according to the report.
