Ocala Health names new chief nursing officer at West Marion Community Hospital: 3 notes

Ocala (Fla.) Health selected Michelle Farris, BSN, RN-C, to serve as chief nursing officer for West Marion Community Hospital in Ocala.

Ocala Health is a part of Tallahassee-based HCA North Florida.

Here are three notes:

1. Ms. Farris most recently served as associate CNO at Terre Haute (Ind.) Regional Hospital.

2. Her previous roles include a staff nurse in women and children services and director of perioperative services.

3. She earned a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, and she is also a graduate of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare’s Executive Development Program.
