Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health has appointed two new leaders at Novant Health Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, S.C.
Matt Conrad has been named president of the hospital, effective July 28, according to a July 28 news release.
Heather King-Semple, MSN, RN, will serve as chief nursing officer for both Coastal Carolina Medical Center and Novant Health Hilton Head (S.C.) Medical Center, effective Aug. 18.
Mr. Conrad most recently served as CEO and COO of Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, N.M. In his new role, he will also lead operational efforts for the construction of Novant Health Bluffton (S.C.) Medical Center, which is expected to open in mid-2028.
He succeeds Ryan Lee, who relocated to Greenville, S.C., to oversee the system’s expanding access in the region.
Ms. King-Semple joined Novant Health in 2003 and most recently served as president of Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia, N.C. During her tenure, she oversaw the opening of a new medical plaza and expanded emergency and cardiac services.
Novant Health operates 19 hospitals.
