Norwood (Mass.) Hospital appointed Salvatore Perla permanent president.

1. Mr. Perla has served as interim president since June.

2. He previously served as president of Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer, Mass.

3. During his tenure, Nashoba Valley added new service offerings including bariatric surgery and pain management, and it opened a sports and physical therapy center.
