North Texas Medical Center appoints Chris Zeringue CEO: 4 things to know

North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville named Chris Zeringue CEO, according to a Gainesville Register report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Zeringue most recently served as COO of Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas, a King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services facility.

2. He replaces interim CEO Ramin Roufeh, MD. Dr. Roufeh took over from Randy Bacus in July 2016, when the medical center placed Mr. Bacus on administrative leave.

3. The North Texas Medical Center’s board of trustees signed a management services agreement with UHS and Texoma Medical Center to assume all operational responsibility for the medical center.

4. The center has not yet revealed Dr. Roufeh’s title and role under the new management.
