Mr. Sendach is the hospital’s deputy executive director. He joined North Shore University Hospital in 2010, prior to which he was associate executive director of finance at Glen Cove (N.Y.) Hospital. He was previously a senior account executive in the New York health and medical practice at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide.
Mr. Sendach succeeds Alessandro Bellucci, MD, who is leaving the role to return to clinical practice within North Shore’s nephrology division. Dr. Bellucci also will continue to serve as an associate professor of medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in Hempstead, N.Y.
