Dr. Blanchard most recently served as head of player and family wellness for The Alliance of American Football, a professional football league startup that is no longer in business. He has prior experience as CMO of St. James Healthcare in Butte, Mont., and vice president of quality and CMO of Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth’s Northwest Network.
He is a U.S. Army veteran, retiring with the rank of major, and he was a critical care specialist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
In addition to his medical training, he holds a master’s in medical management from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business in Los Angeles.
Dr. Blanchard succeeds C.K. White, MD, who is retiring at the end of the year.
