North Carolina system names COO

Fayetteville, N.C.-based Cape Fear Valley Health has named Michael Tart its new COO.

Mr. Tart has served as interim COO since February, according to an April 17 LinkedIn post from the health system.

He has been with Cape Fear Valley Health for more than 10 years and also serves as president of Dunn, N.C.-based Cape Fear Valley Harnett Healthcare and president of Cape Fear Valley Highsmith Rainey Specialty Hospital in Fayetteville.

Mr. Tart has held multiple leadership roles across the organization and has supported operational initiatives and clinical teams during his tenure, the post said.
