Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center hires new chief nursing officer: 4 things to know

Niagara Falls (N.Y.) Memorial Medical Center named JoAnn Pellegrino, MS, RN, vice president and chief nursing officer, effective Sept. 25, according to a Niagara Frontier Publications report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Ms. Pellegrino is the associate CNO at Rochester (N.Y.) General Hospital.

2. She is also a member of the Rochester Regional Health System CNO Council.

3. She previously served as director of nursing for surgical services and maternity services at Lakeside Memorial Hospital in Brockport, N.Y., which has since closed.

4. She is a member of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses and Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology.
