New York/New Jersey VA Health Care Network hires new CMO: 4 notes

The New York/New Jersey VA Health Care Network in New York City selected Michael Rader, MD, to serve as CMO, according to a Hudson Valley News Network report.

Here are four notes:

1. Dr. Rader most recently served as CMO for East Orange (N.J.) General Hospital.

2. He is also an assistant clinical professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.

3. He is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology.  

4. New York/New Jersey VA Health Care Network provides care for 500,000-plus veterans in 76 counties.
