New Hampshire system appoints quality chief

Rebecca Cooper-Piela, APRN, has been promoted to senior vice president and chief quality officer of Southern New Hampshire Health, based in Nashua, N.H.

In her expanded role, Ms. Cooper-Piela will lead systemwide efforts to improve quality and safety, oversee accreditation and regulatory processes, and help advance population health programs, according to a Dec. 9 news release.

She has worked with the health system for 30 years. She joined its medical group, Foundation Medical Partners, in 1995 and has since held various leadership roles in quality and medical governance.

In addition to her new role, she will continue to see patients for primary care.
