Ms. Hannon assumed the CEO role in 2009, becoming the 10th leader of the orthopedics-focused hospital. During her tenure, she refocused the hospital’s mission as a specialty teaching hospital. She previously served in leadership roles in hospitals in California and Massachusetts.

Post-retirement, Ms. Hannon will serve as a trustee for Beth Israel Lahey Health, formed by the proposed merger of Boston-based Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Burlington, Mass.-based Lahey Health.
