Mr. Pearce assumed the CEO role Nov. 2, 2017. He took over soon after Macon, Ga.-based Navicent Health bought facility, which was formerly known as Oconee Regional Medical Center. A statement by Navicent Health’s chief of human resources and talent officer notes that Mr. Pearce resigned “because of personal issues that require his full attention,” the Union-Recorder reports.
Mr. Pearce’s previous roles at Navicent Health include serving as vice president of ambulatory services and interim chief administrative officer for Monroe County Hospital in Forsyth, Ga. He is also a U.S. Navy veteran.
Navicent Health has not yet released information regarding the search for new a new leader at Navicent Health Baldwin.
