Navicent Health Baldwin taps Darren Pearce as CEO: 3 notes

Navicent Health Baldwin in Milledgeville, Ga., appointed Darren Pearce, BSN, CEO, according to a report by The Telegraph.

Macon, Ga.-based Navicent Health recently bought Oconee Regional Medical Center and renamed it Navicent Health Baldwin.

Here are three notes:

1. Mr. Pearce’s previous roles at Navicent Health include serving as vice president of ambulatory services and interim chief administrative officer for Monroe County Hospital in Forsyth, Ga.

2. A U.S. Navy veteran, he entered the healthcare industry as a surgical/neurological intensive care nurse at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta.

3. He is a past president of the Georgia Organization of Nursing Leadership for the central Georgia region.
