Dr. Siegel currently serves as director of the Center of Health Care Quality and as professor of health policy at the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services in Washington, D.C. He previously served as president and CEO of two NAPH members: Tampa (Fla.) General Healthcare and the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation.
Dr. Siegel succeeds Christine Capito Burch, who will retire from NPH after 20 years as executive director. He will officially begin work in Oct. 2010.
