Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Ky., named John Wilson COO, according to a West Kentucky Star report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Wilson has worked at the hospital for nine years.

2. Previously, he was vice president of human resources/operations.

3. Before joining Murray-Calloway, he worked in human resource leadership roles at numerous hospitals in Kentucky and New York.  

4. He holds a master’s degree in human resources from Sullivan University in Louisville, Ky.
