Munson Healthcare Charlevoix (Mich.) Hospital announced the retirement of CEO Lyn Jenks.

Here are five things to know:

1. The hospital persuaded Ms. Jenks to come out of her previous retirement in 2005, when she began working for the Charlevoix Area Hospital Foundation.

2. The hospital named Ms. Jenks CEO in 2012.

3. She recently received the Award of Excellence in Administration by Healthcare Michigan.

4. She will retire as soon as the hospital selects a new CEO.

5. Officials will begin the search process within the next few weeks. It could take up to six months to complete.
