Moab Regional Hospital CEO to step down

Moab (Utah) Regional Hospital CEO Robert Austin informed the hospital’s governing board that he will retire early this year, according to the Moab Sun News.

Mr. Austin has served as the hospital’s CEO for just under two years. According to the report, he will remain in his role for at least 90 days to ensure a smooth transition for the hospital and its staff until his successor is named.

Mr. Austin has 40 years of experience working at four different hospitals as a material management clerk, CFO and CEO. He also served on the Councils for the American Hospital Association and as the 1996 chair of the Colorado Hospital Association.
