Ron Gleason, CEO of Mineral Community Hospital in Superior, Mont., tendered his resignation, according to a Mineral Independent report.

1. Mr. Gleason will remain at the hospital until the end of June.

2. He has worked at the hospital for close to four years.

3. Neither Mr. Gleason nor hospital officials noted the reasons behind his decision.

4. During his tenure, he helped orchestrate a financial turnaround at the hospital.

5. He also played a key role in establishing telestroke, telecardiology and telepsychiatry services at the hospital.
