Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health tapped Michelle Fuentes to serve as president of Adventist Health Sonora (Calif.).

Here are five things to know:

1. Ms. Fuentes most recently served as Adventist Health Sonora’s vice president of operations.

2. She has previous experience as assistant vice president and COO at Orlando-based Florida Hospital.

3. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

4. Ms. Fuentes succeeds Andrew Jahn, who was promoted to president of Adventist Health’s Southern California Region.

5. Adventist Health Sonora includes a medical center, 32 medical offices as well as other services in Northern California.
