Mr. McManus began the role Feb. 24. He succeeds Mark Turner, who announced in November his plans to retire in April.
Before being named president, Mr. McManus was COO of Memorial Regional Health Services, part of St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare.
He also was COO of Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville, Ill.
