Mr. Shaker will leave his post on June 2. He previously held a number of leadership roles at Premier Health, including serving as president of Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton and of Fidelity Health Care, Premier’s home healthcare arm. He was named to his current role at Miami Valley in 2013.
“We can confirm that after 31 years of outstanding service, Mark Shaker has decided to leave his role as president of Miami Valley Hospital as of June 2, 2017,” an emailed hospital statement notes.
The hospital has begun a formal search to fill the position.
