Methodist Healthcare taps Greg Seiler as CEO of 2nd facility: 4 notes

Methodist Hospital South in Jourdanton, Texas, has named Greg Seiler CEO, the Pleasanton Express reports.

Four notes:

1. Mr. Seiler, who assumed his new role in January, is also CEO of Metropolitan Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. Both hospitals are part of San Antonio-based Methodist Healthcare.

2. He has served as CEO of Metropolitan Methodist Hospital since 2012, prior to which he was CEO of Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, Texas.

3. He also has served as COO of Riverside (Calif.) Community Hospital and COO of Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City, Fla.

4. Mr. Seiler began his healthcare career at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio 27 years ago.
