Mercy Hospital Fort Smith names Ryan Geib COO

Ryan Geib is Mercy Hospital Fort Smith (Ark.)’s new COO, the Southwest Times Record reports.

Mr. Geib joined the 336-bed acute care facility on Jan. 6. He replaces Juli Stec, who is now vice president of operations at Mercy Fort Smith, according to the report.

Before joining Mercy Fort Smith, Mr. Geib was assistant administrator for HCA Healthcare’s West Florida Hospital in Pensacola. His other previous roles have included HCA’s director of facility management in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and senior director of facility operations for King’s Daughters’ Health in Madison, Ind.

Mr. Geib told the Times Record efforts to strengthen community outreach and developing new outreach methods are among the focuses in his new position.
