Mercy Hospital Ada’s new president is Terence Farrell: 4 things to know

O’Fallon, Mo.-based Mercy hired Terence Farrell to serve as president of Mercy Hospital Ada (Okla.), effective Feb. 25, according to The Ada News.

Four things to know:

1. Previously, Mr. Farrell served as administrator of Herrin (Ill.) Hospital.

2. He also has experience serving as vice president of professional and support services at Pikeville (Ky.) Medical Center and chief resource officer for support services at St. Vincent’s Health Services in Bridgeport, Conn.

3. Mr. Farrell is a fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives.

4. He holds a master’s degree in health administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill.
