Logan Regional Medical Center selects permanent CEO: 4 things to know

Logan (W.Va.) Regional Medical Center dropped ‘interim’ from CEO Simon Ratliff’s title, effective immediately.

Four things to know:

1. Mr. Ratliff has served as interim CEO and COO of the hospital since September 2018.

2. Prior to that, he was COO of the hospital for two years.

3. He also has experience serving in leadership roles at several hospitals, including Valley View Medical Center in Fort Mohave, Ariz., and Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center in Somerset, Ky.

4. Mr. Ratliff holds an MBA from Midway (Ky.) University, and he is a certified professional in patient safety.
