MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach appoints Dr. Susan Herman CNO

MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach (Calif.) has tapped Susan Herman, DNP, RN, to serve as chief nursing officer.

Dr. Herman has previously served in nursing leadership roles at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford in Palo Alto, Calif., and Adventist Health Bakersfield (Calif.).

In 2015, she was president of the Association of California Nurse Leaders.

Dr. Herman earned her doctorate from a program offered jointly by California State University, Fresno, and San Jose (Calif.) State University.
