Memorial Health System selects Stan Regehr as interim CEO: 4 notes

Abilene, Kan.-based Memorial Health System appointed Stan Regehr interim CEO, according to an Abilene-RC report.

Here are four notes:

1. Mr. Regehr is coming out of retirement to lead the hospital while a permanent CEO replacement is identified.

2. Prior to retiring, he served as administrator of Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca, Kan.

3. He has more than 50 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including in several Kansas hospitals.

4. Mr. Regehr replaces Mark Miller, who resigned.
