1. Mr. George will assume his new role after Memorial Health is integrated into Charleston, S.C.-based HCA South Atlantic Division.
2. Currently, Kerry Watson is interim CEO.
3. Mr. George will work with Mr. Watson during the transition.
4. Mr. George has worked within HCA for 25 years, working in leadership roles at hospitals in North Carolina and Florida.
5. He holds a master’s in healthcare administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
