MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, Md., has tapped Jeremy Hawker, MSN, RN, as chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services for Columbia, Md.-based MedStar Health, a 10-hospital system.
Mr. Hawker assumed the roles Nov. 3, according to a Nov. 10 news release from MedStar Health. Most recently, he served as commanding officer and director of the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command and Naval Health Clinic Patuxent River (Md.).
Mr. Hawker has also served as CNO of Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton (Md.), executive officer at the Naval Medical Readiness and Training Command Great Lakes at Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, Ill., and associate director for surgical services at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (Va.), according to the release.
