Medical Facilities Corporation names Tyler Murphy incoming CFO: 3 points

Toronto, Canada-based Medical Facilities Corporation appointed Tyler Murphy as executive vice president of finance and incoming CFO.

1. Mr. Murphy will report to Michael Salter, current CFO of the company. He will take over as CFO following Mr. Salter’s retirement on Dec. 31, 2016. Mr. Salter has served as CFO since the company’s inception in 2004.

2. Mr. Murphy most recently served as vice president and treasurer at a large publicly traded U.S.-based healthcare company.

3. Medical Facilities Corporation owns controlling interests in five specialty surgical hospitals located in Arkansas, Indiana, Oklahoma and South Dakota as well as an ambulatory surgery center in California.
