1. Mr. Newman most recently served as associate COO at Medical City Dallas.

2. He previously served as associate COO at Medical City Fort Worth.

3. Mr. Newman succeeds John Corbeil, who left to serve as CEO of Kingwood Medical Center in Houston.

4. He earned his master of science in healthcare administration at Trinity University in San Antonio.
