Mary Beth Short is the hospital’s new vice president of human resources. Previously, she served as the vice president of human resources at Medical City Alliance in Fort Worth, Texas, and Medical City North Hills in North Richland Hills, Texas. She is a Navy veteran and has more than 20 years of human resources experience.
Medical City Arlington named Michael Smith vice president of business development. He most recently served as the vice president of operations at FMC Services in Amarillo, Texas. He also has previous experience at numerous healthcare organizations, including Dallas-based Baylor Health Care System and Amarillo-based Northwest Texas Healthcare System.
Marcus Jackson will join Medical City Arlington as vice president of ancillary services. He formerly served as the director of cardiopulmonary services at Methodist Mansfield (Texas) Medical Center. A Marine Corps Reserve veteran, he has served in several managerial roles at Dallas-based Methodist Health System, including director of respiratory care.
