Medical Center Health System names Russell Tippin CEO

Odessa, Texas-based Medical Center Health System has selected Russell Tippin to serve as president and CEO, effective Sept. 9, according the Odessa American.

Mr. Tippin most recently served as CEO of Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews, Texas. He is the former CEO of Pecos County Memorial Hospital in Fort Stockton, Texas.

He received the 2019 Gordon Russell Merit Award from the Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals, which recognizes outstanding achievement and dedication to the recipient’s job and community.

Mr. Tippin earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

He succeeds Rick Napper, who is retiring.
